The first ever patent for OTDM applied to communications was filed by GCM's President Dr. Vicente Diaz in 2000. GCM's ongoing OTDM and associated research and development work has focused on improvements in channel technologies and the integration of his technology into communications devices and sensors.

GCM now has a portfolio of granted and pending patents relating to OTDM technology for wireless and wireline communications, RADAR, SONAR, Prospection, Defense and Medical applications. GCM licenses its proprietary technologies to communications device and infrastructure producers worldwide and is determined to protect its portfolio of OTDM and associated technology patents and its strong customer relationships.
